FrontRunner Adds Instant Text & Email Notifications to Online Memorials

FrontRunner Professional is excited to announce their latest enhancement to the widely popular Book of Memories online memorials. This new notifications feature
allows anyone to quickly sign up and receive messages sent from the family. The tool is available to all FrontRunner clients in their system right now.
“With social distancing, and so much uncertainty happening for everyone, we knew we needed to build something to help families keep their loved ones informed. Right now, a lot of families have postponed memorial services until the time is right. When larger services begin to happen again, a lot of people will need to be contacted. Alternatively, some families are live streaming services instead. This tool makes it easy to share the link with everyone to watch and streamline that process,” says Jules Green, CEO of FrontRunner.
With this new feature, families can easily share a message or update with everyone who has signed up. This could include service detail updates. Or just a simple thank you for attending the service and offering condolences. Rather than manually reaching out to everyone, this feature helps the family save time and include everyone. Families simply need to contact the funeral home and ask to have the message sent out.
“If a family is waiting to reschedule a service, they’re going to have to follow up with a lot of people. In some cases, the family might not have the contact details for everyone who was close with the deceased. This tool lets loved ones sign up to stay informed, so nobody is missed. It’s a great tool for families to use, especially given the uncertainties many are facing right now” concludes Green.
